Biography
Maxine R. Lambert, 70, of Guysville, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.
She was born December 25, 1940, in Boyd County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Robert M. and Wilma Stewart Ruggles.
Maxine was the owner and operator of a carry-out business for many years in Wellston, Ohio. She enjoyed reading and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
She is survived by her husband, Walter L. Lambert, Jr.; one daughter, Sheila Ervin of Wellston, Ohio; two sons, Carl Cox of Wellston, Ohio and Jeff Cox of Virginia; one step-daughter, Jennifer Lambert of Florida; one step-son Walter L. Lambert, III of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Ruggles of Catlettsburg, Ky. and Charles Conley of Ashland, Ky.; and a sister-in-law, Kennetha Ruggles of Great Falls, Montana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Sam and Manford Ruggles.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 1 - 4 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio.
